Definition Net Congestion:

  • Shortage in Electrical capacity due to the Electrical Infrastructure of i.e. Cables, Transformers, number of spare Fields etc.
  • Not able to expand delivery for more electricity from grid to consumer like i.e. for Factories (or expansions), Office buildings, Houses, Schools etc.
  • Not able to absorb consumption of electricity from customer to grid like i.e. wind-energie, solar energie, Factory leftover power from generators (WKK), etc.

Grid Solution:

  • Invest in extension of Electrical grid infrastructure of i.e. Cables, Transformers, no. of Fields etc.
  • Find locations and a Trace to install above extensions
  • Get Permits to execute above extensions

Note:

To receive the many approvals for the chosen Locations and Trace is the MAIN ISSUE for the Netherlands Net Congestion, hence the delivery time is extremely long (Several years due government rules).
